If your property is unoccupied for 45 days or more you'll need to make sure:

The mains services are turned off and the water systems drained (other than those required to operate any sprinkler system, fire alarm system or intruder alarm system).
Arrangements are made to inspect it externally at least once every 30 days.
It's secured against unlawful entry by closing all doors and windows and setting all securely locking mechanisms and setting any alarm system in operation.
